Austin Berry was born and raised in Southeast Texas. He began an interest in the art of tattoos in 2010. From a young age he has been an avid artist, experimenting with many styles and media over the years, learning as much as possible along the way and always progressing to become a better artist. He began tattooing his artwork in a studio at the age of 19, where he built his clientele and made his mark on Texas over 5 years. Eventually, he decided to progress his knowledge and skill by dropping everything and starting new in San Diego with SD Tattoo in 2017.

Austin’s versatility and attention to detail makes him a well-rounded artist in a wide range of styles. He enjoys doing everything from color, black and grey, realism to new school, neo-traditional and dark art. His custom style of art has more of a dark-fantasy nature to it and the wilder ideas the better.

I love to create unique tattoos, based on each client’s individual personality and style, that they’ll be proud of for a lifetime!
